Abstract:
To provide a parabolic shape using circular films with a film thickness distribution which can be manufactured practically.
A reflector comprises two circular films and an annular support. A first film has constant rigidity, up to a dimensionless radius of 0.7 and is increased in rigidity discontinuously in a plurality of steps in the dimensionless radius of 0.7 or larger, and a metal film is formed on a center surface of the film. The second film has the same diameter as that of the first film. The support holds the first film and second film airtightly at their peripheral portions, and an airtight space is formed between the first film and second film, and the support.
