To provide a refrigerant distributor capable of stabilizing a distribution ratio to plurally branched refrigerant passages irrespective of a flow velocity of a refrigerant.
The refrigerant distributor includes a refrigerant flow-in pipe 2 into which the refrigerant flows in, and a U-shaped refrigerant flow-out pipe 3 connected to the refrigerant flow-in pipe 2 and having straight pipe parts 4, 5 in both ends out of which the refrigerant flows out. An inner diameter of the straight pipe part 4 in a lower part side of the refrigerant flow-out pipe 3 is smaller than that of the straight pipe part 5 in an upper part side. Excessive flowing of the refrigerant to a lower side of refrigerant flow-out pipe 3 due to influence of gravity when a flow velocity of the flown-in refrigerant is low, is prevented, and distribution of the refrigerant can be carried out at a predetermined ratio.
