Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating apparatus capable of shortening the length of the capillary tubes connected to a heat exchanger so as to promote compactness of the apparatus, facilitating administration of parts and the assembly work and lowering the cost. SOLUTION: Capillary tubes 15A-15F each with the same inside diameter are in use for the connection to a plurality of heat-exchanger tubes marked off according to a plurality of their channels. Pipe-contraction decreasing the refrigerant passageway in cross-sectional area is given to the capillary tubes 15A-15F to suit them to the volume of air blown upon the respective heat exchanger tubes to which they are connected. The pipe contraction can be given by air press using metal molds 20, 21. The capillary tubes 15A-15F requiring pipe contraction, put in a state having a distributor and the capillary tubes 15A-15F connected to the heat exchanger, can be processed all simultaneously.
