Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a refrigerator capable of keeping a balanced state between a pressure inside the refrigerator and an ambient air pressure outside the refrigerator and further capable of easily opening or closing door.
CONSTITUTION: This refrigerator has a pressure equilibrium device. When a door 20 is released to open, a magnetic plate 111 is drawn out while being affixed to a gasket 30 of the door and causes ambient air to be flowed into the refrigerator through an air inlet formed by the drawn-out magnetic plate 111. Concurrently, the air in the cylinder 151 passes through an air outlet hole of a piston 153 and is discharged out of the hole. As a result, the magnetic plate 11 is gradually drawn back and the gasket 30 may shut off the air inlet after elapsing of the predetermined time period.
