To solve a problem that a food storage amount decreases due to arrangement of a cold storage agent in a conventional refrigerator.
A cold storage agent arranging plate 41 and a cold storage agent 40 placed thereon are provided in a space interposed between a front partitioning plate upper end horizontal surface 38 which is a substantially horizontal surface from an upper end of a front partitioning plate 37, and a front partitioning plate lower end horizontal surface 39 which is a substantially horizontal surface from a lower end. Thereby, decrease in a food storage amount of a refrigerator 80 due to arrangement of the cold storage agent 40 can be prevented. In addition, a temperature increase in a chamber is suppressed by effectively utilizing latent heat of the cold storage agent 40 when outside air flows into the chamber by opening and closing a door, high-temperature food is input, or when a compressor stops, and when defrosting. Thus, food freshness preservability and an energy saving property can be improved.
