Title:
REGENERATION OF INK SHEET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS60110493
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to accelerate the regeneration speed of an ink sheet, by adhering powdery ink to an ink layer by electrostatic force receiving from the electric field between an electrodepositing electrode and an opposed electrode and fixing the same to a base layer under pressure and heating.

CONSTITUTION: An ink sheet 1 passes between an electrodepositing electrode 9 and an opposed electrode sleeve 14 and enters between pressing and heating rollers 13, 13. A voltage applying circuit 18 is connected to the opposed electrode sleeve 14 and an electric field is formed between the electrodepositing electrode 9 and the opposed electrode sleeve 14 by voltage applying circuits 11, 18. Powdery ink 17 is adhered to the omitted part of the ink layer 1b of the ink sheet 1 by the approach to the ink support 1a thereof. The ink sheet 1 is inserted into the nip between the pressing and heating rollers 13, 13 which, in turn, apply predetermined pressure and heat to the powdery ink 17 of the omitted part 1c of the ink layer 1b to fix the same to the ink support 1a through plastic deformation. By this mechanism, the acceleration of the regeneration speed of the ink sheet is achieved.
