PURPOSE: To obtain collection data free from the deficits and errors by performing the time monitor via a store control information processor to start automatically the regular work and performing this regular work in parallel with the daily work.

CONSTITUTION: An information processing system consists of a store control information processor 1 serving as a compute and a POS terminal equipment 3, i.e., one of those POS terminal equipments which are connected to the processor 1 via a private branch circuit 2. Then the processor 1 performs the time monitor and the regular work is automatically started. Thus the regular work is carried out in parallel with the daily work. As a result, the collection data free from the deficits and errors can be obtained based on the result started at a correct time point. Furthermore the presence of an operator is not always required at a due position and therefore the load of the operator is reduced.
