PURPOSE: To obtain a rehabilitation device for the treatment after operation, in particular for the joints of the elbow and shoulder.
CONSTITUTION: The objective rehabilitation device consists of a rotary shaft 1 which performs a reciprocating revolution movement in a prescribed angle, actuator which is extended and contracted by a pneumatic pressure and applies a turning power to the rotary shaft 1, swing member fixed on the rotary shaft 1, and an arm support member 6 fixed on the swing member, which has a radial surface in the direction perpendicular to the rotary shaft 1. Accordingly, the joints of the elbow and the shoulder can be applied with the complicate movement by one rotary shaft while the device is made simple, and the simple control and the operation by any operator are enabled and the operation can be controlled according to the patient's intention.
