Abstract:

To provide a reinforced concrete column capable of having good load retainability while securing a high strength concrete without causing an explosion during heating by a fire.

This reinforced concrete column comprises a 60 to 80 mass% of Portland cement, 8 to 15 mass% of silica-admixture, 5 to 20 mass% of fine- powdered granulated slag, and a binding material containing 5 to 15 mass% of gypsum, and 0.05 to 0.3 volumetric synthetic fiber pieces with a diameter of 10 to 100 μm, with a length of 5 to 20 mm which is softened, melted, shrunk or cracked at 150 to 300 °C.
