PURPOSE: To easily attach and detach branched coated wires by providing the first insulation housing and the second insulation housing to give press-contact connection to plural coated wires so that both insulation housings are freely attachable and detachable.

CONSTITUTION: A relay joint connector comprises the first and second insulation housings 1, 2 integrally formed of elastic insulating material, a contact 3 fixed to the housing 1 and a realy plug contact 4 firmly inserted into the housing 2. Both housings 1, 2 are fixed by firmly inserting a locking piece 2D provided on the housing 2 into an engagement portion 1F provided on the housing 1. Separation between the housings 1, 2 can be easily performed if the locking piece 2D is pushed down, unlocked from the engagement portion 1F and pulled out.
