PURPOSE: To realize a remote control of the electric apparatus not only by the switch operation but by the voice, by incorporating the switch signal source and the voice recognizing signal source into the operation unit of the TV or the like.
CONSTITUTION: Operation unit 1 which gives a remote control to TV picture receiver 2 located at a remote place is as large as the ordinary bunko size (slightly smaller than pocket book) and consists of switch signal source 3 which generates the remote control signal to give a remote control to receiver 2 through the switch operation and voice recognizing signal source 4 which generates the remote control signal through the voice recognition. And source 3 comprises operation switch group 10, OR circuit 17, clock pulse source 11, divider 12, integrating circuit 13, astable multivibrator 14, output amplifier 15, ultrasonic transmitter 16 and others. Switch group 10 has such structure in that the contact closes with operation of the push button provided outside unit 1, and consists of the switch groups corresponding to such items necessary for the remote control as ON/OFF of the power source, each channel or the large, medium and small sound volume and others.
