Abstract:

PURPOSE: To measure a required time, by measuring times at a start point and a goal point remotely space apart from each other by separate timing apparatuses preliminarily started at the same time in synchronous relationship.

CONSTITUTION: Digital stopwatches 4, 4' stop the digital display of an elapsed time at the point of time when temporary stop buttons 2, 2' are pushed but the watch circuits 9, 9' in said stopwatches 4, 4' succeedingly measure a time. If the temporary stop button 2 is turned ON/OFF at a start position 7 every when players start after both stopwatches start at the same time, the start time of each player is displayed while, if the temporary stop button 2' is turned ON/ OFF at a goal position 8 every when players goal, the goal time of each player is displayed. Thereafter, if the record at the start time is subtracted from that at the goal time, the required time of each player is calculated.
