Abstract:

To provide a removal inplement capable of smoothly widening the diatance between flanges without bringing a torsion when turning a nut and coping with different contact resistances of a pipe line against the ground and detecting a screw shaft and further, preventing damage of screws and nuts.

A key way 12 is formed, and limit marks 11 are attached to both ends of the key way 12. A screw shaft 13 to which two nuts 14 are screwed and a key 16 fitted to both ends of the screw shaft 13 and fitted in the key way 12 is attached to the inner face, peepholes 17 for the limit marks 11 are provided, a jig 10 composed of an external cylinder 15 provided with a detent 19 and a claw 18 is arranged at both sides of a water meter fitted to the embedded pipe line 20 through a flange 24. The claw 18 is hooked on the flange 24 and the nut 14 is turned to widen the distance of the flange 24.
