Abstract:

PURPOSE: To efficiently decomposing and removing NOX in an automobile exhaust gas with a inexpensive base material by arranging a prescribed quantity of CaO.FeXO based multiple oxide having a specific component composition in an engine exhaust gas pipe reaching a prescribed temp. range at the time of driving automobile.
CONSTITUTION: The CAO.FeXO based multiple oxide containing 10-30wt.% CaO and ≤9wt.% component other than CaO and iron oxide is used, and ≥0.32kg CaO.FeXO based multiple oxide per 1m3/min discharge gas is arranged in the exhaust gas pipe of automobile engine reaching 300-700°C in temp.
