PURPOSE: To improve the performance of a printing system by allowing further the 2nd and 3rd records to coexist on one recording medium without erasing the 1st record.

CONSTITUTION: A prelead notcher PN has a function of detecting the end of image planes and notching the same. For the frames which are to be printed by recorder, it adds the rate of correction of deviation of the existing notches from the center of the image planes as auxiliary information, and records the same together with the auxiliary information added by the operator on a recording medium T1. At this time, the previous 1st recording information is recorded in the other space of T1 without breaking the same, and the T12 containing two sets of the information is passed together with a piece cassette F through an automatic analyzer AR or automatic printer AP. The AR analyzes the images by the 2nd information of the T12, adds the results of decision to the 2nd information and records the same as the 3rd information on the T12, thereby providing T123. The 1st and 2nd information do not breake similarly. According to this constitution, it is convenient for tracing of the cause for troubles, various treatments are accomplished by selectively using the records and the edge cutting of reprints is eliminated.
