Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repairing and reinforcing method for a steel structure reducing the number of bored bolt holes to reduce a repair cost and to enhance the degree of freedom in repairing design and moreover preventing the delayed fracture of a high strength bolt.
SOLUTION: In the repairing and reinforcing method for the steel structure for repairing and reinforcing the steel structure 12 by disposing a repairing and reinforcing steel plate 15 over steel plates 13, 14 of the steel structure 12 and carrying out the bearing joining of these steel plates with a drive type high-strength bolt inserted through the steel plates, the drive type high-strength bolt 9 with tensile strength refined into a range of 1,200 to 1,600N/mm2 is used, and the bearing joining lowers the tension loaded to the drive type high strength bolt 9, to the stress of standard bolt tension of B10T or less.
