Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a delay time calculation process in a repeating device within a packet network when executing time synchronization using a sync signal transmitted via the packet network.SOLUTION: A repeating device 20 according to the present invention comprises: a data reception unit 21 for receiving synchronization information having a time correction field that is used when correcting synchronization time information in a client device 30; a pre-data processing time correction unit 22 for subtracting information that indicates a synchronization information received time from the time correction field and updating the time correction field; a post-data processing time correction unit 23 for adding information that indicates a time after synchronization information is processed to the time correction information of the time correction field updated by the pre-data processing time correction unit 22, and updates the time correction field; and a data transmission unit 24 for transmitting the updated synchronization information to the client device 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
