Title:
MERCHANDISE DETECTOR FOR AUTOMATIC VENDING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3169112
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To automatically and highly accurately grasp the number of stored merchandises without executing specific work other than replenishing at the time of replenishing merchandises to an automatic vending machine.
CONSTITUTION: Since weight applied to a bottom plate of a housing is proportional to the number of merchandises in a type for stacking merchandises in the housing, the weight of merchandises is measured by a weight sensor set up on the bottom plate after replenishing the merchandises and closing a door and the measured value is divided by weight per merchandise to find out the number of stored merchandises (steps S1 to S4). Since the found value may be influenced by the offset value of the sensor, the weight is measured after resetting the sensor at the time of practically vending each merchandise and the number of stored merchandises is calculated, so that the number of stored merchandises can be highly accurately measured (steps S5 to S8).
