Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that much noise is included in a video and audio at and near the portion to which reproduction of an MPEG transport stream is jumped when the MPEG transport stream is decoded and displayed.
SOLUTION: The reproducing apparatus comprises a hard disk unit 208 for reading and reproducing the AV data recorded on a recording medium as the MPEG transport stream and an AV transfer controlling block 211 for controlling the hard disk unit 208 so that the hard disk unit 208 outputs up to the last transport packet constituting one frame before skipping a predetermined portion when the predetermined portion of the AV data during the reproduction and outputs the first transport packet of the next one frame after skipping the predetermined portion.
