To provide a reproducing device for wavelength division multiplexed optical signals which is usable alone in order to reproduce the various beams sent from various WDM(wavelength division multiplexing) channels of optical fibers and is capable of reproducing the WDM channels carried by many wavelengths which are not previously determined.
The device is so constituted that the light signal to be reproduced is sent from the optical fiber A and is reimplanted to the same optical fiber or to another fiber E. The device includes at least one dispersible media (B1, B2, B3) for receiving the wavelength division multiplexed signals and transmitting the corresponding dispersion waves to a free space and a saturable absorber C constituted to receive the dispersion waves and to transmit the corresponding reproducing waves.
