Title:
RESERVIOR WITH LIQUID LEVEL DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6047923
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the accuracy of operation or durability by providing a conical section at a part where either a communicating shaft or a operating shaft contacts the other in such a manner as to deminish in the diameter toward the other.

CONSTITUTION: The upper end of a communicating shaft 15 is formed into a hemispherical cone 15b and the lower end of an operating shaft 11 into a larger hemispherical dent 11a than the cone 15b so that they can contact each other. As a float 23 floats abbuting against the lower end of the communicating shaft 15 to press down the top surface of a cover member 8 against the force of a spring 16 and a buoyancy of the float 23, the operating shaft 11 and the communicating shaft 15 move down being guided by guide sections 10 and 13 respectively. As the float 23 is pressed down with the communicating shaft 15 and a magnet 24 fixed at the lower end thereof gets in contact with the bottom of a reservior main section 4, a magnetic flux of the magnet 24 acts on a reed switch 28. This enables the setting almost at the center of the contact point while automatic centering and also minimizes the transmission of a rotary force.
