PURPOSE: To provide a resin compsn. for coating consisting of a hydroxyl group- contg. acrylic copolymer, a chlorinated polyolefin and an isocyanate compd. and forming a coating film excellent in compatibility, adhesion to polyolefin over a long period of time and resistance to solvent.
CONSTITUTION: The resin compsn. consists of (A) hydroxyl group-contg. acrylic copolymer made from 5W99wt% at least one monomer selected from among cyclohexyl (meth)acrylate, isobutyl methacrylate and n-butyl methacrylate, 1W 30wt% hydroxyl group-contg. monomer[e.g. β-hydroxyethyl (meth)acrylate]and 0W50wt% other hydroxyl group-contg. copolymerizable monomer[e.g. methyl (meth)acrylate], (B) chlorinated polyolefin with a chlorination degree of 50% or lower (e.g. chlorinated polypropylene) and (C) isocyanate compd. (e.g. tolylene diisocyanate).
