Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide titled composition of improved crosslinkability, heat resistance and processability, capable of giving products (esp. power cables) good in surface characteristics, comprising specific ethylene copolymer and crosslinking agent, with specified range of iodine value.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition pref. with a melt index 0.2W10(esp. 0.3W8)g/10min and an iodine value 0.2W20, comprising ethylene copolymer consisting mainly of copolymer derived from high-pressure radical polymerization between (A) ethylene or its combination with another α-olefin and (B) polyene. Said polyene should be a cyclic diene (selected from vinyl norbornene, ethylidene norbornene and vinylcyclohexene).
