Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a resin composition capable of increasing AC electrical break down strength of epoxy castings.
CONSTITUTION: This resin composition for epoxy castings is composed of an epoxy resin base consisting of 100 pts.wt. of an epibis-based epoxy resin having 150-280 of epoxy equivalent weight and a curing accelerator and 50-110 pts.wt. of an acid anhydride-based curing agent and a fused silica and the ratio of impurity elements in the fused silica is ≤0.2%.
