Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a resin composition having piercing resistance and deep- drawing property necessary as an instrument panel of automobile, etc., and enabling recycling use and, accordingly, suitable as an interior trim for automo bile.
CONSTITUTION: This resin composition is composed of (A) 95-20wt.% of a cross- linkable resin composition containing (a) an ethylenic copolymer composed of ethylene, 0.1-20wt.% of a radical-polymerizable acid anhydride and 0-20wt.% of other radical-polymerizable comonomer, (b) a polyhydric alcohol compound having ≥2 hydroxyl groups in the molecule and (c) a reaction accelerator, wherein the molar ratio of the hydroxyl group unit in the polyhydric alcohol compound (b) to the unit originated from the radical-polymerizable acid anhydride in the component (a) is 0.01-10 and the amount of the component (c) is 0.001-20 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the component (a) and (B) 5-80wt.% of a polyethylene resin. The invention also relates to a thin-walled molded article produced by using the resin composition.
