Abstract:
To improve the stability to gelation of a resin impregnant incorporated with a curing agent for improving the characteristics of mechanical parts made of castings, sintered metal, aluminum alloy, etc., each having voids.
This resin impregnant composition based on a vinyl monomer contains a combination of at least one water-soluble polymerization inhibitor with at least one water-insoluble polymerization inhibitor. Thus, the stability of this resin impregnant composition to gelation is markedly improved compared to those of resin impregnants each having an ordinary composition.
