To provide a reversal device for a thin plate-like object to be conveyed in a conveying device capable of rapidly and certainly reversing a rectangular thin plate-like object to be conveyed when one inclined conveying surface of a conveying device and the other opposed conveying surface are arranged so that they are opposed to each other in a V shape cross section at a predetermined range and the rectangular thin plate-like object to be conveyed on a conveying device is reversed onto the other inclined conveying surface.

Since the reversal device 20 is constituted such that a lower end retaining part 16 for retaining a lower end of a thin plate-like case 2 is independently turned as a transfer retaining member 25, even in the case where a conveying speed of first and second conveyors 1a, 1b becomes high speed, the rectangular thin plate-like case 2 supported and conveyed on the respective placing surfaces and the lower end retaining part 16 can be reversed only by turning it between the opposed belt placing surfaces. Thereby, the thin plate-like case 2 can be rapidly and certainly transferred.
