Abstract:
To provide an RFID tag that can be manufactured in a faster, easier and less expensive manner than existing flip-chip-mounted and ACF-mounted RFID tags by solving the problems wherein the existing structures require precise positioning for electrical connection between an antenna on a sheet and chip bumps to thus require the use of a high precision flip chip bonder or expensive ACF.
A loop antenna on a semiconductor chip and a booster antenna on a tag sheet are brought nearer for resonant coupling. This can significantly relax requirements for mounting positioning and connection reliability and reduce defects in the process to mount fast packaging by batch mounting and low manufacturing costs.
