Abstract:

PURPOSE: To recover a tube after firing for re-use and to provide a training grenade to perform safe operation.

CONSTITUTION: A training grenade is fired by a rifle and provided with a metallic tube l comprising a tail unit 2 for stabilizing a rear and a front solid part 3 for fastening a tube. Its front part supports a hollow nose 4 containing an inactive material 5 for marking. The nose 4 is removably fastened through engagement with a front solid part 3 of a pipe 1. The nose 4 has a strength high enough to be durable against firing and can break at a point of time when an impact is exerted.
