Abstract:
To prevent cracking or splitting from a circumferential cut surface in the rim of an eyeglass frame where a polarized lens is fitted which is formed by sandwiching a polarizing film between a surface lens and back lens.
A silicone resin layer 7 is formed by applying soft resin to the inner circumferential surface of the rim 5. When the polarized lens 1 is fitted into the rim 5, a soft silicone resin layer 7 is moderately compressed and deformed, thereby protecting the polarized lens 1.
