Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact rise and fall device capable of smoothly rising and falling in a simple structure and being integrated in an armrest of a seat, for instance.
SOLUTION: A substantially triangular drive link 20 is fitted in a casing 11 to be rockable around a pin 12. The drive link 20 is urged by a coil spring 29 so as to clockwise rotate by the tensile coil spring 29. A driven lever 40 is fitted in the drive link 20 to be freely rotatable around a pin 40b at one end of the lever. A shaft 40c of the other end of the driven lever 40 is connected to a rise and fall member 1 through a bar 6. The driven lever 40 and the drive link 20 are connected to each other by a cam means. When the drive link 20 rotates clockwise, the rotary force increased by the cam means is transmitted to the driven lever 40 by the cam means.
