Abstract:
To provide a road surface state detection device and a road surface state detection method capable of detecting the state of a road surface accurately.SOLUTION: The road surface state detection device according to an embodiment comprises a detection unit and an estimation unit. The detection unit detects a vibrating state generated at an electric wheelchair by using a vibration sensor provided at a structure part which projects from the body frame of the electric wheelchair and is not in contact with a road surface. The estimation unit estimates the state of the road surface on the basis of the vibration state detected by the detection unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
