This power supply system includes both an on-vehicle power receiving device 100 which receives power by radio through a power receiving antenna, and a power transmission device 200 equipped with transmission antennas for the irradiation of microwave from the side of the road. The power receiving device 100 provides a receiving-side communication device 10 which sends out information including home position information with a predetermined positional relation relative to the power receiving antenna 31 and laying area information on the transmission antennas defined on the basis of the home position information. The power transmission device 200 includes a controller 70 with an irradiation area setting section 71 which defines the irradiation area based on the home position information and the laying area information received, and a transmission controller 73 for irradiating the transmission antennas 80 with microwaves within a defined irradiation area.
