The robot for communication having a sound output function and a video display function is provided with: an exterior, an exciter stuck to an inner surface of the exterior; and a cushion material arranged in a gap between the inner surface of the exterior and the exciter. The exciter applies vibrations to the exterior, thereby outputting the sound output from the exterior.
