PURPOSE: To provide a robot control system with which the arbitrary operation procedure of robot controller and manipulation box for inputting manipulation data can be displayed.

CONSTITUTION: The operation of robot 1 for painting is controlled by a robot controller 2, and the manipulation data are inputted from a manipulation box 3 to the robot controller 2. The robot controller 2 has a magnetic disk device for mounting a flexible magnetic disk 6 storing the program of operation procedure for each mode. When an operation procedure display mode is set by an input device 4B, the operation procedure recorded on the flexible magnetic disk 6 is read, and the operation procedure to be next performed is displayed on an indication display 4A of personal computer 4.
