Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable a roller conveyor to control to stop an article being conveyed in a conveyor path at a specified position and to start conveying it again thereafter as desired.
CONSTITUTION: It is devised so that torque by a drive shaft 3 is transmitted through a coupler 5 to a roller 4, and to stop conveyance of an article 15 at a desired zone in a conveyor path, a brake body 6 using an air bag and others is made to pressure contact with all the rollers 4 contained in the relative zone.
