Abstract:
To reduce the cost of a rolling bearing unit by facilitating its conveyance operation and its mounting operation onto an automobile in such a way that the durability of the rolling bearing unit and the reliability of the detection of a rotational speed are not lowered.
A blind stopper 57 is mounted on an insertion hole 32 which is formed in a part of a cover 17a which is fixed to the outer end of an outer ring 1 so that a holder which holds a sensor is mounted. The rolling bearing unit for the detection of the rotational speed is assembled to a suspension system, and the blind stopper 57 is removed. The holder is mounted on the insertion hole 32.
