Abstract:
To provide a rolling bearing unit with a braking rotary member inexpensive in a manufacturing cost, and causing little a judder at braking time.
A rotor 2 is butted against an outside surface of an installing flange 13 in a state of inserting a stud 9 supported by the installing flange 13 into a through hole of the rotor 2. A spring pin 29 is fitted by tight fit to the through hole 27 penetrating in the radial direction through a cylindrical part 25 of this rotor 2, and is allowed to enter a recessed groove 28 formed on an outer peripheral surface of the installing flange 13. This structure nonseparably joins the rotor 2 to the installing flange 13.
