Abstract:
To join a magnetic material to the surface of the base material of a magnetic encoder without requiring a molding die.
The magnetic material 7 is joined, by thermal spraying, to an annular groove 6b formed in the outer diameter surface of a retaining ring 6 which is the base material of the magnetic encoder, and joined thereby to the surface of the base material of the magnetic encoder without requiring a molding die.
