To provide a rolling bearing hardly deformed by centrifugal force and having a retainer preventing seizure caused by oil film shortage.
The retainer 10 of the rolling bearing is a waveform retainer in which two annular plates 12, having recessed parts 14 recessed in the axial direction and disposed at equal intervals, are axially matched in a direction so that the recessed parts 14 are on the inside and the circumferential positions of the recessed parts 14 correspond to form a pocket for holding a rolling element 40. Holes 20 are provided at two locations in each of the recessed parts 14 of the annular plates 12 opened on a pocket inner face. A resin member 30 is embedded in each hole 20. An inner projection part 32 configured capable of abutting on the rolling element 40 by projecting to the inside of the pocket is formed on the resin member 30. The resin member 30 is arranged to hold the rolling element 40 and suppress contact of the rolling element 40 with the pocket.
