Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve abrasion performance to a work and also to improve processing efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical barrel abrasive tank 13 is rotatably mounted on a positively-rotatable turret lathe 12 in an eccentric position so that the barrel abrasive tank 13 is allowed to rotate. In the barrel abrasive tank 13, a press board 24 having a diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the tank is placed on a stored work W. When the barrel abrasive tank 13 is rotated, the press board 24 is rotated along the inside wall of the barrel abrasive tank 13 and slid on the work W while rubbing each other, so that the work is polished at a high speed by abrasives, etc., entering between the press board 24 and the work.
