This rotary base 1 for the personal computer is composed of a leg base 2 installed to the desk and a placing base 3 turnably attached on the leg base 2 and used by installing the keyboard or mouse of the personal computer at a front part and installing the display at a rear part. The placing base 3 presents a flat box shape and a bottom plate 31 is provided with a bottom hole for inserting a cord on a turning center and supported by the leg base 2 through three or more rollers dispersedly disposed to the turning center. Also, a turning range limiting mechanism for limiting the turning range of the placing base 3 to be equal to or less than 360 degrees is provided, a top window is formed at the rear part on the top plate 32 of the placing base 3 and the cord is wired through the bottom hole and the top window.
