To reduce the impact noise in intermittently stopping a rotary clutch device for intermittently supplying the paper one by one.
A partially missing gear 54 mounted on a transmitting shaft 9a to which a paper supply roller is fixed, is energized in the paper supply direction by an energizing spring. A cam body 55 is rotatably mounted oppositely to an inner face of the partially missing gear 54. The partially missing gear 54 makes approximately one rotation when an engagement claw 61 of an engagement lever 60 is disengaged from an engagement step part 62 of the cam body 55 by intermittent operation of an electromagnetic solenoid, and the engagement claw 61 of the engagement lever is engaged with the engagement step part 62 of the cam body 55, whereby the torque of the partially missing gear 54 is transmitted to the cam body 55 through a coil spring-shaped elastic body 63 supported by a first supporting part 64 of an inner face of the cam body 55 and a second supporting part 66 of the inner face of the partially missing gear 54 at its both ends, when the rotation of the partially missing gear 54 is stopped, and the impact noise of the engagement claw 61 and the engagement step part 62 can be reduced.
