PURPOSE: To prevent generating noise from a sealed type rotary compressor by disposing a plate forming an ejected gas passage between an ejection cover and an ejection hole, and positioning the exit of the ejected gas passage toward the silencer chamber inside the ejection cover apart from the ejection hole.
CONSTITUTION: An ejection hole 9 is formed in the side plate 4 of a rotary compressor and an ejection cover 10 is provided on the side plate in order to attempt silencing of the gas ejected from this ejection hole. A plate 15 is placed between the ejection cover and the side plate and an ejection gas passage 16 is formed on the side plate by this plate 15. This ejected gas passage 16 communicates with a silencer chamber inside the ejection cover through a hole 17 drilled through the plate 15, and the position of said communication is apart from the position of the ejection hole 9.
