To facilitate the setup of a rotary connector and effectively reduce the vibration sound by providing the end in width wise direction of a band- shaped cable with a shock-absorbing material, consisting of an elastic resin material.
The end in vertical width wise direction of a band-shaped cable 5 is provided integrally with a shock-absorbing material 10 consisting of elastic resin material. Accordingly, the band-shaped cable 5 can reduce chatters caused by hitting on the case. Furthermore, as compared with the one not provided with a shock-absorbing material, this is superior in strength, and the restoring force to transformation is larger. Therefore, the rewinding action of the band- shaped cable 5 wound on the case 3b of the inner housing is performed without fail. Moreover, the fellow adjacent parts of the band shaped cable 5 are restrained from interfering with each other, and the occurrence of the vibrating sound caused by the fellow band-shaped cables hitting on each other can be prevented, as well.
