To provide a rotary cutting device capable of enhancing reliability for attaching/detaching an annular cutter.
The rotary cutting device has an insertion hole part 71 for demarcating a holding space 71a in which an annular cutter 10 is inserted, an operation sleeve 72 for taking the first and second positions to the insertion hole part 71, and a spring 73 for urging the operation sleeve 72 to the insertion hole part 71 in the direction from the first position to the second position. A communication hole 71b having a ball 74 communicating the inside with the outside of a wall demarcating the holding space 71a and movable inside and outside the wall is formed in the insertion hole part 71. The operation sleeve 72 has a first face 72A which blocks the communication hole 71b at the first position and is brought into contact with the ball 74 to project a part of the ball 74 into the holding space 71a, and a second face 72B which blocks the communication hole 71b at the second position, and is brought into contact with the ball 74 to separate the ball 74 from the annular cutter 10.
