PURPOSE: To provide a small sized explosion proof universal head with high precision assembled with excellent job performance and to obtain the coupling mechanism between a rotary shaft and a coupling shaft in which alignment, processing and assembling manhours are reduced.
CONSTITUTION: A tilt unit 2 and a panning unit 3 are assembled to a chassis 1 and then to a main body 4, and a housing 5 and a flange 6 are assembled. Furthermore, a joint face between the rotary shaft and the coupling shaft is tapered to simplify the alignment of both the shafts and a sufficient transfer torque is obtained by realizing the requrred torque based on the size and number of connection bolts. Furthermore, a face joint is adopted for the housing of the universal head and the bearing of the coupling shaft to simplify the alignment.
