Title:
ROTARY DRUM DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01296426
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To use a head for both recording and reproducing by moving the head with a bimorph element by maintaining perpendicularity to a magnetic recording medium in a direction which is orthogonal to the revolving direction of a rotary drum.

CONSTITUTION: When a motor coil 12 is electrified, and upper cylinder 1 and a head 2 are revolved with being united. At the time of reproducing, when a voltage is impressed through a lead wire 23 to a bimorph element 7, the element 7 is bent in an upper direction or a lower direction and a heat pressing board 4 or 5, which is provided in the top of the element, pushed down a board spring 26 through a head base 3. Then, the board spring 26 is pushed up in the supper direction from a lower surface. Since the board spring 26 is bent, the head 2 to be mounted on this board spring is moved in the lower direction or upper direction with holding a horizontal condition. Accordingly, the head 2 does not have any angle to a magnetic tape surface. When the head pressing board 4 or 5 is separated from the head base 3 or board spring 26 by the element 7, the board spring 26 is returned to a fixed position, which is determined by the board spring itself, and this position goes to a head position at the time of recording.
