Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent respective knives from contacting with a belt plate even if an upper knife and a lower knife come to the lower dead center and the upper dead center during the cutting of the belt plate and the next cutting.
CONSTITUTION: In a rotary drum type shear having knives 3 and 4 respectively in a small diameter upper rotary drum 1 and a large diameter lower rotary drum 2 to rotate mutually in the opposite direction above and below a pass line of a belt plate S, a rotary drum raising and lowering means composed of an eccentric shaft 8, an eccentric bearing 9, a bearing box 5 and the like is arranged to move both rotary drums 1 and 2 vertically, simultaneously in the same dimension.
