Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the liquid from leaking due to damage of a shielding layer while reducing an air gap from a rotor by forming the shielding layer which is formed of glass composite over the inner periphery of a seal ring of a terminal board asssembly from the inner periphery of a stator core. CONSTITUTION:A stator coil 14 is liquidtightly surrounded by a stator frame 18, a seal ring 7 and a shielding layer 12, and efficiently cooled by cooling liquid which is passed through a cooling liquid exit 19 of the frame 18 and space in a slot. The layer 12 is formed of glass composite, a glass material is maintained to be wet with aggregate powder in case of thermally fusion-bonding, fusion- bonded to the slot hole, the inner periphery of a stator core 1, the inner periphery of the terminal board assembly 8 and a thermal expansion moderating member 10, and a defect does not occur in case of solidifying the material.
